Fatal Frame IV Countdown! (For Japan)
24 Jul 2008
Well, if you haven't figured it out, Nintendo released informational videos, a new trailer, plus an interview with Shibata-san & Kikuchi-san. (Nothing for Suda 51 fans as of yet)

For people having issues seeing the trailer:
(Sorry, right now the other vids are not on youtube atm - SeniIonia's translation in full story.)

Over at Neogaf forums, Stormbringer translated tidbits of the interview:
You can read that here. Most of the interview talks about game design, however, there are a few minor plot spoilers here and there, so read at your own risk!

PS. For all you complainers about characters moving too slow in the games... it's actually mentioned _IN_ the interview that Shibata-san & Kikuchi-san took that into account when testing character speed. :> So they are listening to you!

They're not the only ones telling tales though. Tokura announced on his blog that Amano Tsukiko shot the PV for Zero no Chouritsu (themesong to Fatal Frame IV) this past Tuesday (July 22nd).

Most fans know by now about the trailer, but if you don't, you can view the Japanese Fatal Frame IV trailer at Gametrailers.com.

A quick update, is that the

(maybe...we might have creator interviews on it later? :) That would be cool!)

On a fan note, I got asked to link to this really cool french website: http://www.projectzero.fr/ The website has information on all the games, and forums too! (I figured I would promote it here since I've been slow on updating the website). Please check it out if you get a chance!

SenilIonia took an attempt at translating Ruka's speach at the beginning of the new trailer (just released mere hours ago!)

To avoid possible spoilers, the translation has been put under full story. [ Full story ]

After the Nintendo Conference, a lot of fans (even IGN) were upset that nothing had been mentioned about the third party video game. It was even leading to speculation that Fatal Frame IV would get the Metroid Prime Treatment. However, just moments ago, the trailer was released and it's already spreading over the net like wildfire!
I shouldn't have to say, the trailer does contain spoilers to the game. But WOW, what visuals! I'm so impressed with some of the FMV footage in this too!

This specific version on youtube (not only shows commercials but Japanese trailers for the game!!!) In an interesting move by Nintendo, the commercials do NOT show any game footage (audio can be heard). The commercials show both a man and a girl, playing the game, completely in the dark, screaming, jumping and crying as they play! *L*

I'll try to get screencaptures of the video shortly!
