Veiled Priest Chant

From ZeroWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

This 'song', or rather chant, is chanted by the Veiled Priests of Minakami Village. The song is first heard during the opening portion of the game when Mio is first playable, chasing Mayu up the path to Misono Hill. During this time, the priests can be faintly heard chanting. The chant is also prominent in the Xbox/Director's cut version of Fatal Frame II, in which it can be heard playing while the main menu screen of the game is open after loading the game. The lyrics to the song were published in the Fatal Frame Fanbook.

This chant takes the place of the voices of this world
those devoted to the Crimson Sacrifice and Kusabi

pray for the sacred wind of the Land of the Dead
the revered Crimson Butterfly that shall set us free
