The Rope Temple was a large room in Kurosawa House, of Minakami Village. The Cutting Ritual was performed here, to prepare the Kusabi for the Hidden Ritual.

The chosen Kusabi, an outsider to the village, was tied up by ropes and slashed by the Veiled Priests until barely alive.

The Rope Temple also led to the Underground Passage, used to access the Hellish Abyss.

• Veiled Priests - cutscene and attacking alongside Ryokan if summoned
• Seijiro Makabe - flashback and hidden ghost in the ropes on the ceiling
