An old camera called the Camera Obscura.
It was designed by a man with the same surname as Yuu - Asou*, to photograph images of spirits and ghosts.
But what was the camera doing inside the manor?
- Sidenote: The surname Aso can be spelled both Aso or Asou. In Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, it was spelled as Aso, in Fatal Frame III: The Tormented it is spelled as Asou. This is mainly in part due to two different translation teams working on the game.
