Background Info
The library connects with the Blind Room and the Flickering Hallway. Before the Unleashing, it was used to store ritual texts. At the back of the room is a ladder going up to the third floor, and a small altar. This area is initially blocked off by a chest of drawers, which Kei Amakura can move.
The altar is part of a mechanism which unlocks the door to the Hanging Prison, and requires the Commandment Tome to work. The inscription on the altar reads: Offer up the Tome of Instruction / Written in the Ink of the Etching of the Soul, though there is an alternative translation in Rei's Notebook.
