Kozue Kuzuhara

Kozue Kuzuhara is the daughter of Makie Kuzuhara and an unnamed man. Kozue's father tried to retrieve her ball, which had landed on the roof, but slipped and fell to his death. Kozue never told her mother what she witnessed, nor the guilt she felt, so every day mother and daughter wandered the forests together looking for him. Makie never knew her daughter knew the truth of her husband's death, so for appearances sake kept 'searching' so the child wouldn't lose hope. Both with their own secrets, Kozue and her mother eventually fell victim to the Tattooed Curse. When neighbours went to visit them, all they found was an abandoned house and black soot.
In death, Kozue haunts the House of Sleep and accuses everyone she meets of killing her father. Sometimes she and her mother attack together, sometimes separately. In Hour III, Kozue can be found in different locations around the Manor, hiding from her mother's grief and crying for her father. Finding every location and photographing her spirit there, and battling Kozue alone, results in completion of the "Mother and Daughter" sidequest, and the player is rewarded with the scrap of paper on which she has written her confession.
