Kizuna Himuro was a Rope Shrine Maiden who was sacrificed in the Strangling Ritual at Himuro Mansion. Like other Rope Shrine Maidens, Kizuna participated in the Demon Tag Ritual when she was around 7 years old. Being the last of the players caught in the game, Kizuna was placed in seclusion for 10 years. She reflects in her single diary entry that she has severed all her attachments and accepted her fate as a sacrifice.

When Miku starts dreaming of the Manor of Sleep and Himuro Mansion, she encounters Kizuna's spirit. This may mean that Kizuna was one of the Rope Shrine Maidens Miku encountered previously in Fatal Frame, since the Manor of Sleep is using Miku's previous experiences/dreams from her stay at Himuro.

Misc. Info

  • Kizuna was never mentioned in the first Fatal Frame game, even though she is clearly a member of the Himuro Family and part of the rituals that took place there.
  • Kizuna's primary attack involves grabbing the player and stretching them limb from limb like she was.
  • Kizuna's name means "bond", "tether" or "leash".
  • It is possible that Kizuna is the Previous Rope Shrine Maiden from the first game. It is also possible that she is Long Arm's daughter, or she could be both. She also shares very similar background music to the Previous Rope Shrine Maiden.
