An idea for the plot.
Maybe the plot is that the Lingering Scent ending in Fatal Frame 2 is the canon one and Mio finds a way back into the Lost village to find Mayu and rescue her from the fate of the Crimson Sacrifice Ritual. Who here thinks that this is possible and hopes that this game makes Mayu's survival canon?
